Black Cat Boba
Project Overview
For this project, we had to create a realistic looking product illustration using Adobe Illustrator. It could be any product, and the illustration needed to look real enough to be a product advertisement.
The Solution
Using gradient maps and 3D shapes in Illustrator, I created an advertisement for a fictional boba shop. I decided to make two drinks showing off two different flavors. I wanted to create a call to action to go along with the product. Even though the assignment only called for the digital illustration, I felt inspired to create a logo for the brand as well. When choosing colors, I didn’t want to use just black, but something more playful. I chose shades of purple, since this is a common color artists use for shading instead of pure black.
